Dr. Touloei grew up in Sydney, Australia. He graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Biochemistry. He also obtained a Masters Degree in Biological Sciences at Drexel University. He then went to Western University of Health Sciences to obtain his medical degree. Dr Touloei completed his Dermatology residency at Broward Health and also completed rotations at the University of Miami where he trained with dermatology world renowned experts Dr Francisco Kerdel and Dr Carlos Noussari.
Dr. Touloei is published widely in dermatologic literature. His medical interests lie in surgical dermatology, especially treatment of skin cancer and general dermatology including acne, cosmetics, eczema, psoriasis and complicated rashes. Dr. Touloei is a Board certified in Dermatology, a member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is married with one child.
Dr. Soheil Simzar is double board-certified in both dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from University of California at Los Angeles, Doctor of Medicine at UCLA, and was a Resident Physician in Internal Medicine at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
At Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, he continued his Residency in Dermatology and served as Dermatology Chief Resident, while also accomplishing a Preceptorship by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery in Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology. After his specialty training, Dr. Simzar completed a fellowship in advanced dermatological procedures and surgery.
Dr. Simzar was awarded UCLA’s Dean’s Honor List and a recipient of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Preceptorship Award. He is an experienced researcher, has authored in numerous prestigious medical publications, and has presented at national conferences.
Dr. Simzar spends his time outside of the clinic trying to keep up with his kids, playing basketball, and thinking of solutions for affordable and accessible dermatology care for all.
